A convenient way of quickly attaching a fly line to the backing line, or to various types of leaders. Simply slide the hollow open end over the fly line butt or tip. Then slide the clear sleeve down to secure the overlapping lines in place. Once secured correctly to the main fly line the braided loop can then be used to tie on other lines or leaders.
